Doug Knuckey Construction – A Life Long Builder
 Doug Knuckey has been building homes in Northwestern Illinois and the surrounding tri-state area for over 30 years. Doug started in construction in high school where he worked as a craftsman during the summer remodeling homes and putting on home additions. With Doug’s craftsmanship, knowledge, and eye for detail he soon was sought after to build new homes. It wasn’t long before Doug started his own construction firm, Doug Knuckey Construction.
He started building conventional “stick built” homes where all the work is completed on the job site. Through his own research he realized that by using engineered building systems, he could build high quality semi-custom and custom homes while offering his customers more home for their dollar.
